Tentative Paris Itinerary

Day 1: Wednesday, November 10, 2010
Depart from the U.S. on an overnight flight to Europe. Please note that none of the transfers from the airports (to your home or hotel) are included.

Day 2: Thursday, November 11, 2010
Arrive in Europe this morning. Check-in to your centrally-located hotel, and begin exploring right away!

Day 3: Friday, November 12, 2010
Enjoy seeing the sights of Paris on your own today. Explore the museums, peruse through the markets, or take in a theatre performance!

Day 4: Saturday, November 13, 2010
Today is free to further enjoy at your leisure. Exciting shopping opportunities abound.

Day 5: Sunday, November 14, 2010
Depart for the United States. Please note that the transfer from your hotel to the airport is not included.

FOURTH PRIZE: Aerial Tour for Two

($350 value)

Get a bird's eye view of the San Francisco Bay Area on your personalized 1-hour aerial tour for two. The Mooney 252 will take off from the San Carlos Airport and head over San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz and Sausalito. On your way back to San Carlos you can choose to go via the East Bay or the Pacific coastline, or maybe locate your house from the air. Your pilot and guide has over 25 years experience.

Special Requirements

Children under 18 years old need to be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or other adult with written permission from the child's parent or guardian.

Children under age 6 or weighing less than 60 pounds should have a car seat (for safety and for the child's ability to see out of the airplane and enjoy the view!).

 

Support Paly Choirs by Entering Our Great Spring Raffle

This year the Friends of the Palo Alto High School Choir (FOPC) has arranged for a raffle to support our talented, award-winning choir program!

Tickets are on sale between Tuesday, February 9, and Sunday, May 16.

Ticket Prices

  • 1 for $10
  • 5 for $40 (get 1 ticket free!)
  • Important: By California law, all raffle ticket purchasers and each person named on a raffle ticket must be at least 18 years old at the time of purchase.

How to Purchase Tickets

  • Contact a choir member – For every 20 tickets that a student sells before Friday, May 14, the student gets a chance to win a monthly drawing. On May 16, the choir member who has sold the most tickets and the one who sells the lucky grand prize ticket also win prizes.
  • Come to a choir performance and visit the raffle table – When you purchase tickets you can name a choir member to include on your ticket, giving the student a chance to participate in monthly drawings and to be one of two sales winners at the raffle drawing on May 16.

    - Come to one of the two Valentine's Concerts, Pal-Glee on Tuesday, February 9.

    - Come to the Spring Choir Concert on Sunday, May 16. (Concert details are below, under About the Drawing.)

About the Drawing

  • Raffle drawing will be held at the Spring Choir Concert on Sunday, May 16, 2010:
  • 7:00 PM
    St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 600 Colorado Ave., Palo Alto, CA 94306 (map)
    $10 tickets to the performance will be sold at the door.

  • Winners do not need to be present at the drawing.
  • The Spring Raffle is registered with the California Attorney General's Office by Friends of the Palo Alto High School Choir (FOPC).
  • All proceeds benefit the Paly Choral Program.

Raffle Rules

All purchaser's of raffle tickets and all persons listed on a raffle ticket must be over 18 years old at the time of ticket purchase.

Winner of the trip to Paris and winner's traveling companion must be over 18.

The winner of the trip to Paris must register with ACIS/Encore Tours no later than June 1, 2010. FOPC will provide all the contact information to the winner.

This raffle is registered and therefore required to comply with all rules set forth by the California Attorney General's Office.
