Athletic Clearance Procedures

ATHLETIC REGISTRATION for 2017-18.

The three main steps are
1) Register with AthleticClearnance -https://www.athleticclearance.com(link is external)

2) Have a Valid Physical

3) "The final step will be to pick up a "Ticket to Play".  All athletes have a “Ticket to Play” and give it to their coach before being able to participate.  For FALL SPORTS ATHLETES, The Athletic Training Office (Top Level of Peery Center near Baseball Field) will be open on Wed Aug 2nd & 3rd 1pm-3pm, Fri Aug 4th 11am-1pm & Mon Aug 7th 1pm- 3pm.  PLEASE make sure to have your athlete come during those times and bring a hard copy of a valid physical.  IF your athlete turned in a Physical from 2016-2017 that has not expired, then they just need to come get an updated "Ticket to Play" during the day/times listed above."

Athletic Participation Donation

When students participate in the  PALY Athletic program, we ask for  a donation of $200 per student per sport.  Without this contribution we would be unable to maintain the athletic program at PALY.  Participation Donations can be made on line at http://palysportsboosters.org/participation/

The operating budget for Paly Athletics is approximately $300K.  These funds are raised through contributions from the athletes and their families and Sports Boosters fundraisers like the Snack Shack, holiday tree lot , Booster Passes and the annual auction.  Sports Boosters raises money for ALL non-coaching costs needed in order to run and manage ALL of our sports programs at Paly.  This includes:  transportation fees, league fees,  officials, uniforms, equipment, tournaments, training room supplies and awards.

 

 

FALL SPORTS PARENT NIGHT

Monday Aug 21st at 6:30 in the MAC

All Fall Sport athletes are expected to have a parent or Guardian in attendance.
There will be a large group meeting followed by individual team meeting.  This is your chance to meet the coach and hear all about the plans for the season."
