COLLEGE VISITS
IMPORTANT NOTE: The lists on this page have been retired. For 2009-2010, the current list is on Paly Family Connection, Naviance, with dates and times of visits from various college admissions representatives either to the Paly College and Career Center (C&CC) or to an off-campus location. The schedules are updated weekly beginning in September. On Naviance, you can either Sign In using your login or Enter As Guest, then click the :: visit schedule hyperlink under About College in the navigation list at left.
Off-Campus Opportunities
Off-Campus Opportunities are listed below the on-campus visit list. These are college representative visits or open houses that take place at locations other than the Paly campus. Students interested in attending an off-campus event should consult that institution's web site for further information and to R.S.V.P., if required.

On-Campus Opportunities
College admissions officer visits to the Paly campus are listed below. Students don't need to make an appointment to attend these visits, but when a presentation conflicts with a class, they must obtain permission at least one day in advance from their teacher whose class they will miss. Students can pick up the necessary form in the C&CC or print the permission form from the web site. Have a C&CC officer sign the form at the meeting and it will serve as your admit to class. All visits take place in the C&CC unless noted otherwise.
Visits with college representatives are a great way for students to get questions answered and to establish relationships with regional admissions officers (or staff of higher status!) who are often responsible for reading/advocating for our students' applications. Some colleges track students "demonstrated interest", so attending a visit could be beneficial. Of course, it's not always feasible for students to miss class to meet with college representatives. If students can't meet with the reps of colleges they are especially interested in, they are encouraged to leave a note with a college advisor to pass on to the reps.
