This comprehensive international current events database with topics ranging from foreign affairs to science and technology combines background information, full-text periodicals (newspapers, academic journals, commentary) from a variety of international sources, AP news feeds, podcasts, primary source documents, maps, tables, charts, and text-to-speech technology. ProQuest searches over 2,000 newspapers, magazines, and academic journals for full-text articles covering a wide range of current and historic events. ProQuest includes a variety of newspapers including the New York Times and reference resources such as Ethnic Cultures of America, Occupational Outlook Handbook, and The World Fact Book. No password is needed when using ProQuest from the online catalog at Paly.
