This week’s Advisory is for ALL FRESHMEN and ALL SOPHOMORES. (Deggelman)

General:

1. Want to join a book club? This year Palo Alto reads is “The Distant Land of My Father” by Bo Caldwell. See the librarian for a free book. The book discussion and pizza will be in February. (Kellerman)
2. Immediate coaching opportunity available for JLS 7th grade Boys’ Basketball coach. Please contact Lisa Goncalo at Lisa.Goncalo@cityofpaloalto.org or at 650 463-4926 for more info. (Mullins)
3. We will be having yoga today in the ERC after school at 3:15. Plan on coming. Wear comfortable clothes to stretch in. (Vilms)
4. Seniors – cap and gown orders must be placed by this Friday, final deadline. Pick up late order forms in the S.A.O., you can no longer use the original order forms. Again, they are due THIS FRIDAY. (Mullins)

• Teaching Practicum students, there is a seminar today during Advisory in room 1706. (Hori)
• Key Club meets at lunch today in room 214. (McNulty)
• The National Honor Society will meet today in room 402 at lunch. Anyone who wants to join is welcome. (Duffy)
• Spirit Club has an important meeting tomorrow in room 1706 at lunch. (Hori)
• Students for Obama meets in room 306 today at lunch. Please come if you’re ready to get more involved. (Bungarden)
