General:
The Auditor’s Office will be closed tomorrow because it’s a minimum day. (Merritt)
Clubs and Meetings:
- There will be the last Action in Africa meeting of 2007 today in room 310 at lunch. (Mullins)
- The Gay-Straight Alliance meets today at lunch in room 33. Everyone is welcome to attend. (Rivera)
- Everyone who signed up for Play in a Day must come to the meeting tomorrow in the Theater. Play in a Day performs this Saturday at 8 pm. Tickets are $5 for students, $7 for adults. (Woods)
- Come to the Spirit Club today in Mrs. Hori’s room. (Hori)
- Spanish Club meets today at lunch in room 403. (Vericat)
College and Career:
Scholarship opportunity for seniors who will attend an accredited college (2 year or 4 year) who have financial need (typical annual family income does not exceed $50,000), must have fulfilled minimum CSU coursework requirements and earned a C or better in these classes. Preference is given to students who worked while attending high school. Awards are between $500 - $4000 annually; this scholarship is renewable and provides support during all undergraduate years, regardless of the number of years in college to graduate. The application requires a personal essay and your family's financial information (including verification of having filed the FAFSA). Applications can be obtained from Ms. Cernobori in the C&CC and are due in early February; pick one up before the Winter break! (Cernobori)
