CSU Updates for the Class of 2008
In anticipation of state budget cuts, the CSUs are enforcing tight deadlines to increase their internal efficiency as a cost-saving measure. This year, more than ever before, it is essential that students meet all deadlines. Miss any of the following “gatekeeper” deadlines and you will jeopardize your spot at the CSU!
- May 1 – “Letter of Intent” must be received to matriculate to one of the CSUs where you were accepted. Some campuses may require you to complete this online; read the email/mail communications carefully.
- April – May Enrollment confirmation deposits due. Dates and deposit amounts vary by campus.
- April – June Housing applications and deposits are due to secure a spot in the dorms. Dates and deposits vary by campus.
- June A final transcript must be requested from the registrar to be sent to the CSU campus where you accepted admission.
- June – Aug. Campus orientation for freshmen. Advising and course registration are often done during orientation.
