Advisory:
This week’s Advisory is for ALL FRESMEN & ALL SENIORS. Seniors will be taking the Senior Survey. If you’re in an A.P test at the time, the survey will be handed out to you there. (Deggelman)
General:

1. If you are 17+ years old, REGISTER TO VOTE. Come out to the Quad at lunch today bring a CA driver’s license or State ID card and the last four digits of your Social Security #. (Mullins)
2. The library will be closed at the following times so you can plan ahead:      Today–all morning, Mon. May 12–all morning, and Tues. May 13–all day. (Henry)
3. During AP testing, CL1 (portable behind Math) will be open during brunch and lunch. (Yanez)
4. To receive your yearbook, all library fines and book bills MUST be paid in advance. Make payments to the Budget Secretary in the Tower Building. (Strano)
5. Three students are needed to help at a ceremony at Avenidas, May 18, 2 to 5 p.m. Please sign up in the C&CC. This would count as community service. (Sinton)
6. STAR testing is May 14 & 15 all day long. Students should have received a letter with room assignments for the test. If you have not received a letter check the window in Guidance tomorrow. There are no regular classes on STAR test days. If you are not in tests or some supervised activity you may not be on campus. Friday, May 16 is a regular school day.
7. ASB candidate 50-word ballot bios are due today. Please email them to asb@paly.net. (Mullins)

Clubs and Meetings:
Hey, freshmen. Curious who you want to vote for in the upcoming ASB elections? If so, drop by the Theater at lunch on Monday to see the candidates give short speeches. Bring your friends.
College and Career:

• Get help completing the CA community college online. Workshops at Paly; Tuesday, May 13th at lunch and after school in Computer Lab 1.  Bring Social Security Number.  Will take less than 1/2 hour.  Upon completion you will receive ID to register for placement tests. (Cernobori)
• De Anza's 2nd annual New Student & Parent Night is on Wednesday, May 14, 6:30 - 8 p.m. in the Gymnasium (PE2). Attend to register for orientation and get early Fall registration. Parking is free in the Stelling Parking Structure. (Cernobori)
• Are you a senior girl who is a leader and interested in republican partisan politics? You may be eligible for a Paly Community scholarship. See Ms. Cernobori or Ms. Erber in the C&CC before May 12.
