General:

Freshmen - are you interested in running for a class office? Freshmen elections will be held Wednesday, September 2 in Advisory. Pick up information from your English teacher or Mrs. Launer in the Student Activities Office / Leadership classroom in the library before and after school, at brunch and at lunch. (Launer)
Advanced vocal auditions start Friday. See Mr. Najar for details. (Najar)
Work experience class will meet briefly at 3:05 in room 309 on Tuesday. All summer work permits expire on Sept. 1, even those issued in August. If you are under the age of 18 years, you must have, or renew, a work permit. Avoid the rush. It is illegal to be employed w/o a current permit. (Gyves)
If you are 16 years, a junior or senior and are currently working or would like to work or learn how to be well-prepared for future job interviews/employment, sign up for Work Experience class. Class only meets once a week on Tuesdays (afternoons at Paly, evenings at Gunn) for Voc. Ed or variable credit. No job, no problem. Class only for variable credit.
