General:

• Viking Men’s Chorus is back. Meet Tuesday at lunch. Bring $4 for pizza and drink. (Najar)
• Advanced vocal auditions start Friday. See Mr. Najar for details. (Najar)
• Work experience class will meet briefly at 3:05 in room 309 on Tuesday. All summer work permits expire on Sept. 1, even those issued in August. If you are under the age of 18 years, you must have, or renew, a work permit. Avoid the rush. It is illegal to be employed w/o a current permit. (Gyves)
• If you are 16 years, a junior or senior and are currently working or would like to work or learn how to be well-prepared for future job interviews/employment, sign up for Work Experience class. Class only meets once a week on Tuesdays (afternoons at Paly, evenings at Gunn)  for Voc. Ed or variable credit. No  job, no problem. Class only for variable credit. See your TA or a counselor or me for details. (Gyves)
• Everyone is welcome to audition for the fall play and staged reading series Sept. 1 – 3 at 3:15 in the Theater. No preparation required. (Woods)
• Looking for some fun community service to start out the school year? Volunteers are needed for the American Heart Association’s Heartwalk on Sunday Spetember 13. See the big blue bulletin board in the Tower Building for details. (Owen)
