General:

  1. CSF sign-ups continue in room 402 before or after school and at brunch.  Bring $2 and a copy of your report card/transcript. (Duffy)
  2. Parking enforcement by the city will begin next Monday, Sept. 21. Get your parking permits while the getting’s good. Students can pay for permits at the Auditor’s office – brunch, lunch and after school. Staffs parking permits are available in the Main Office.
  3. If you took Humanities with Mrs. Launer, please pick up creative projects in the SAO/Leadership classroom. (Launer)
  4. All Paly juniors will be taking the PSAT on Wednesday, Oct. 14 during the school day. Registration can be done at the Auditor’s Office or via Paly’s web store on http://www.paly.net. The fee is $30 (checks made payable to PAUSD). Any students other than juniors wishing to take the PSAT will need to make arrangements with another testing location (http://www.collegeboard.com/students/testing/psat/about.html). (Feinberg)
  1. Today our nation celebrates Constitution Day. The final draft of the Constitution was signed on Sept. 17 1787. Thanks to YouTube, come hear a group of celebrities read the Constitution in the Library at lunch.  (Kellerman)
  2. ASB is looking for a freshman to serve as their class site council representative.  This site rep will attend site council meetings twice a month and can be an active member of ASB and events that it plans.  If interested, see Ms. Launer in the SAO ASAP. (Launer)
  3. Have you taken your school picture yet?  If not, make-ups are on Sept. 29th.  If you don’t get it taken, it will not be in the yearbook. (Wixsom)

  5. Students of color! Are you interested in attending a 4-year college directly after graduation? Come learn about Foundation for a College Education from Ms. Shultz in the Guidance Office. (Shultz)
