This week’s Advisory is for ALL JUNIORS AND FRESHMEN. (Deggelman)
General:

  1. This is it! The last week to sign up for CSF this semester.  Bring $2 and a copy of your report card/transcript to room 402 before/after school or at brunch. (Duffy)
  2. What do To Kill a Mockingbird and  Where’s Waldo have in common? They were both moved from library shelves to “protect students.” Banned Book Week runs from Sept 26 to October 3. Come to the library to learn about and read a banned book. Advocate for your freedom to read. (Kellerman)

Clubs and Meetings:

  1. Freshman Class meeting in the ERC at lunch to discuss spirit week theme. (Launer)
  2. Interested in being on Mock Trial? Come to the mandatory meeting tomorrow in room 310. (Bloom)
  3. Tomorrow at lunch in the Theater there will be a Thespian meeting for all students interested in attending State Thespian Conference or Ashland Shakespeare. (Woods)

College and Career:

COLLEGE REP VISITS:  You must have your teacher’s permission one day in advance if you are missing class.  Pick up a form in the CCC, or download it from paly.net/college.

Athletics:

  1. Basketball conditioning starts Monday, Oct. 5 at 3:30. Meet outside front doors to Big Gym. (Olah)
  2. Baseball meeting tomorrow at noon on the baseball bleachers. Meet the new head coach, Jordan French with sign-ups for winter baseball. Anyone interested in playing the 2010 season is invited to attend. (Jensen)
  3. All students who are interested in wrestling for Paly, come to a brief meeting tomorrow at lunch (12:20) in the Big Gym. Be there. (Duran)
