General:
- The Paly –Gunn football game is tomorrow night at Gunn. Tickets or students with ASB cards only will be on sale in Attendance today and tomorrow. All others must purchase tickets at the gate. (Berkson)
- Pack a lunch for tomorrow and come to the Haymarket Theater for the Photojournalism Forum. This is a Stanford interdisciplinary presentation. Don’t miss it. Ask your teacher if they are offering extra credit for attending. (Wixsom)
- Don’t forget to turn in your Ashland Shakespeare Festival paperwork today in the Theater at lunchtime. (Woods)
Clubs and Meetings:
- The Gay-Straight Alliance meets tomorrow at lunch in room 33. All welcome. (Rivera)
- The American Disaster Relief Club has a general meeting tomorrow during lunch in P4. (Van Der Burg)
- Do you have spirit? Come to our first Paly Spirit meeting today at lunch in room 1706. Get a Paly shirt to wear to the Gunn game. (Hori)
Athletics:
There will be a Boys’ Soccer meeting tomorrow during lunchtime on the football bleachers. Anyone interested in playing JV or Varsity soccer during the 2010 season is invited to attend the informational meeting. (Briggs)
College and Career:
- Mark your calendars for Palo Alto’s annual College Fair. This year the fair is at Paly on October 12 from 6:30 pm to 9 pm. Over 100 colleges and universities will be represented. At 7:30 there will be a financial aid workshop in the Dance Studio. Encourage your parents to join you. (Erber)
- College Rep Visits: Get your teacher’s permission one day in advance if you are missing class. Pick up a form in the CCC, or download it from paly.net/college and bring the signed form with you the day of the visit. (Cernobori)
