General:

  1. Are you interested in attending Camp Everytown? Pick-up applications in the SAO, room 28 or the Guidance Office. They are due Thurs. Nov. 12. (Burton)
  2. Do you have items left in Lost & Found? Check the tables outside of the Attendance Office this week. Any items not picked up by Monday will be donated. (Owen)
  3. KARA will be offering an ongoing peer support group for Paly & Gunn students who are dealing with loss and grief. The group begins 11/19 from 7 – 8:30 pm. Please sign up in the Guidance office. (Shultz)
  4. The Village Cheese House will be closed next week Monday through Wednesday for remodeling. (Puorro)
  5. Paly’s first Mix It Up Day is Tuesday, Nov. 10 on the Quad during lunch. There will be games, prizes, music and a chance to meet new people. (Launer)

Clubs and Meetings:

  1. Site Council meeting is Monday at 3:30 pm in the ERC. All welcome. (Miller)
  2. The Gay-Straight Alliance meets at lunch today in room 33. All are welcome. (Rivera)

College and Career:

  1. Are you a 9-11th grader interested in a career in medicine? If you have strong academics and leadership potential, consider nomination for the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine. There is a fee but scholarships are available. More info-  visit www.nylf.org/med/index.cfm or sign-up in the CCC before 11/12. (Cernobori)
  2. On Monday, Nov. 9 at lunch in the CCC, come learn more about ECI (Edu Culture International) who provides summer-study-abroad language immersion programs for high school students. (Cernobori)
