Advisory:
Advisory is for ALL SOPHOMORES and A-K FRESHMEN. There will be a special SENIOR ADVISORY in the Theater. Come hear about senior activities including Grad Night 2010 and Senior Picnic. (Deggelman)
General:
- Ride the Rooter Bus tonight to watch Paly Volleyball play in the CCS semi-finals against Presentation. The bus leaves Paly Gym at 4:15 and returns by 8:30. Bring $5 for the bus and $3 for the game. Permission slips may be picked up in the SAO. (Whitson)
- The Gay-Straight Alliance is hosting a vigil for Transgender Remembrance Day, tomorrow at lunch on the quad. Please join us. All are welcome. (Rivera)
- The Turkey Trot is Friday. Enjoy a big Thanksgiving feast for $2 with 3 canned or non-perishable goods or $5, cash only. Funds will be donated to the Ecumenical Hunger Program. (PTSA)
- Come to the SAO at lunch tomorrow to pick up the greatest Paly Apparel from ASB/Booster shop. Get sweatshirts, pants, stadium chairs and much more. (Launer)
- Camp Everytown – it’s not too late to submit applications. The deadline has been extended to this Friday. Pick one up in the Main Office, Guidance, SAO, Library or in rooms 28 & 205. (Burton)
- Registration for CPR/First Aid courses is now open. Go to rm 28 for details. (Burton)
Clubs and Meetings:
- There will be a CSF meeting this Friday in room 402. If you want to be in the yearbook club picture, please come. We will also be discussing plans for the upcoming canned food drive. (Duffy)
- The Paly Book Club meets tomorrow at lunch in the SSRC to talk about the Hunger Games. Our hunger will be assuaged with treats brought by Mrs. Kellerman. All are welcome. (Kellerman)
- Red Cross meets tomorrow in rm 309 at lunch. Learn about fun volunteering opps. (Blackburn)
- Tomorrow at lunch in the Theater, there will be an informational meeting about auditions for “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Everyone welcome. (Woods)
College and Career:
- Applications are available in the Work Experience Job File for the NASA Develop Science Program. The deadline to turn them in is Feb. 19. (Gyves)
