Advisory:
This week’s Advisory is for ALL FRESHMEN and SOPHOMORES. Seniors should meet in the Haymarket Theater for a special Advisory on Cap & Gowns. (Launer)
General:

1. What do dogs really know about car racing? Find out the answer to this question and enjoy the ride while reading “The Art of Racing in the Rain,” a story about a dog, a family and what it means to be human. Join the Paly Book Club and get a copy of the book by emailing rkellerman@pausd.org or stop by the Library. More info on the website. (Kellerman)
2. You are invited to the shopping event of the season at Books Inc. T&C, this Thursday from 5 – 8 pm. Twenty percent of all sales, including gift cards, will go to support the reading and research needs of Paly students. (Kellerman)
3. Come to the SAO at lunch on Thursdays to pick up your Paly gear. (Launer)
4. Please return or renew all overdue library books. Check lists in the library or Tower Building to see if you owe a fine. Take care of these obligations ASAP. (Henry)
5. Find you Inner Elf – pick up a gift card to buy a gift with a needy child this holiday. Cards are attached to the tree in the library entrance.
6. Pals and Travels for the yearbook are due by Dec. 10. Bring them to room 101. (Madrono)
7. Bring your cans and boxed food to your 4th period class ALL this month!! Don’t have a 4th period class? Donate food to room 101. (Wixsom)
8. Come to the Calliope bake sale near Border’s on Saturday! Don’t forget to submit your poems, stories, photos, photo and/or art to Calliope. (Sharp)

1. Scholarships

(Please Note:  If a scholarship application requires a TA or guidance counselor recommendation, the deadline in      Naviance is one month prior to the actual scholarship deadline to account for Paly guidance office lead times.)

2. The President’s Award ceremony will be Friday during lunch in the SSRC. Students who completed an application with 100 or more hours of volunteer work in 12 months will receive their award.(Owen)

Clubs and Meetings:

1. Thespian Club pictures, final play-in-a-day sign-ups and state conference information tomorrow at lunch in the theater. (Woods)
2. Unity Club meets every Wednesday in room 28 and all are welcome. (Burton)

3. Key Club meets in  the ERC today. (McNulty)
4. ASB general meeting will be in the SSRC on Thursday, Dec. 17. (Launer)
