Your success in this course is depended on several factors:

· Being in class daily, on time.

· Being attentive during class lecture and discussions. Actively taking notes, asking questions and working out sample programs.

· Preparing for lab and lab discussion the night before.

· Appropriate and efficient handling of lab equipment. Appropriate behavior during lab.

· Working on in class work before socializing. You may find that we have time after you have finished.

· Completing homework assignments and problem sets, studying regularly, not just night before a test, being sure to come in for help early, and proactively arranging to make up missed work, lab, test or quizzes upon your return to class.

· Keeping an open and receptive mind and allowing yourself to have fun in the course.
