Coach's Take

Colin thinks of himself as a 400 runner, and he's pretty darn good at it. However, should he ever decide to switch distances, he will definitely be successful at the longer range stuff.

Look at those sophomore XC times! The kid definitely has varsity-level talent. With our glut of upperclassmen this year it might be tough to be break into the top 7, so Colin will likely be one of the top runners on Junior Varsity, but if he can stay healthy and be consistent with his training, the sky is the limit for his senior year.

Now that he seems to have finally gotten over the health problems that intermittently plagued his sophomore track season, Colin should certainly be motivated to come back stronger than ever. We haven't heard from him this summer, so we don't know what to expect in the early parts of the season, but he's a person who always stays fit, so with a few months of XC training under his belt, he should be ready to rock by October.
