Jamie is the second Blake to pass through the Paly program in the last few years, and it seems to be a family habit to have a great and surprising freshman track season! After being caught up in the general pertussis epidemic in the middle of the crosscountry season, we didn't really have any idea of what Jamie would do in the spring (though that Toro time was a big hint!) He busted a 5:37 mile and a solid 800 time -- in fact, those Track PR's came in the same meet, against Gunn! Talk about stepping it up big for the cross-town competition! Jamie should be able to build off that base strongly this season.
