Monday 8/20 – First Day of Official Practice @ 5:45pm

Thursday 8/30 – Coaches Challenge @ 5:30pm & Parent Meeting @ 6:30pm

Thursday 9/6 – Gunn, St. Francis, Alumni Meet @ Gunn

Saturday 9/22 – Lowell Invite @ Golden Gate Park in SF

Tuesday 9/25 – SCVAL preview meet @ Central Park (Santa Clara HS)

Friday 9/28 – Moonlight Run @ the Baylands in Palo Alto (optional)

Saturday 9/29 – Stanford Invite @ Stanford Golf Course – top 14 run, others help

Fri-Sat 10/5-6 – Clovis Invite – only top 8 Frosh/Soph Boys (overnight trip)

Tuesday 10/9 – SCVAL preview meet @ Crystal Springs in Belmont

Saturday 10/13 – Punahou Invitational in Oahu – only 14 travel

Tuesday 10/23 – City Championships @ Gunn

Tuesday 10/30 – SCVAL League Championships @ Crystal Springs

Note: Athletes are expected to attend all meets, with the exception of those in bold or italics.

Post-Season

Saturday 11/10 – CA Central Coast Sectionals (CCS) at Crystal Springs – only top 7 compete

Sat 11/24 – CA State Championships in Fresno (overnight) – must qualify @ CCS meet

Saturday 12/1 – Western US Regional @ Mt. Sac (overnight) – everyone can compete!

Saturday 12/1 – US Team Nationals in Portland, Oregon – Team must be invited

Saturday 12/8 – US Nationals in San Diego – top 8 individuals from each of 4 National Regions

3^rd Annual Viking Alumni Challenge & BBQ (& Football game)

Saturday 12/22 1pm – Paly track.

* Since most of our recent alumni are in college and cannot attend the joint “alumni” meet held in September with Gunn, we thought it would be fun to have our own true Varsity vs Alumni Competition. Everyone is invited to run and/or enjoy the post-race BBQ.
