2021 Graduation Information
Graduation Ceremony - Wednesday, June 2
Graduation will be held on campus at Viking Stadium (football field). Seniors line up in caps & gowns at 5:00 p.m. (mandatory-any senior unable to purchase a cap and gown can receive a loaner cap and gown free of charge. Use this link to make your request-see Mr. Stone in room 502 starting on May 10th to pick up your loaner cap and gown). The diploma ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m. Given county and state Covid-19 health restrictions, each senior will be limited to 4 guests (household members only)-Tickets will be made available online through Parent Square. Get your TICKETS here! IMPORTANT: Guests must be from the same household and no visitors outside of California will be permitted. Graduates and guests will be required to complete a health screener prior to entry. Guests of graduates will be limited to their own pod on the football field. Social distancing and mask wearing will be strictly enforced for all graduates and guests, failure to comply will result in rejection from the ceremony. Bags will be searched. Seniors - don't forget to pick up your diploma!
City-Wide Car Parade - Tuesday, June 1
Similar to last year, all 4 Palo Alto high schools will be invited to participate in a city-wide car parade. Decorate your car, wear your cap and gown, and show off your school spirit as the Palo Alto community joins you in celebrating your incredible accomplishments! Simply join the car parade at the point closest to your home. You can find the car parade route here. All decorations must be school appropriate and cannot interfere with your ability to safely operate the car. You must adhere to all traffic laws and abide by any instructions provided by PAPD. The parade will start at 5:30 p.m. and end at 6:30 p.m.
