Statement regarding Sacred Heart Prep v. Palo Alto Football Game

Dear Palo Alto High School Community,

We are aware of the incident that occurred at Saturday's football game and take this matter very seriously. Our administration team is working closely with the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League (SCVAL) and Central Coast Section (CCS) to fully understand what transpired and to determine the appropriate course of action. We are also coordinating with our District Human Resources department regarding next steps.

The safety and well-being of our students, staff, and community members at all school events is our highest priority. We are committed to conducting a thorough review of this incident and will take all necessary measures to ensure that our athletic events remain safe and positive environments for everyone.

We will provide additional updates to our community as more information becomes available and as we work through this process.
